dig into thisHow it works
From what hurts to what you do about it, in six moves.
Cerne is a Brazilian word. It names the core of a tree, the center that holds everything else. People have one too. Cerne is a self-knowledge and practice journey to reach yours, and this is how it happens on the screen.
Tap the leaf that hurts.
Seven leaves on a tree, one for each area of life. Pick the subject that hurts the most and start there.
Pick a question, or write your own.
Each leaf has questions people actually ask themselves. You can also say it your way, typing or dictating. That question becomes the dig.
Talk, and get to know yourself.
Cerne asks the questions that make you reflect. As it gets to know you, it keeps your fragments, your own sentences, and gathers them into small conclusions that you confirm or correct. It never advises.
Say "that's it" and a layer closes.
Five layers under every question: fact, feeling, pattern, origin, desire. Each closes only when you confirm it. The rings fill from the outside in, because the deep ones take longer.
The revelation arrives.
When the fifth ring closes, Cerne says what you already knew, in two sentences made of your own material. You can listen to it, and right below it shows how it got there, layer by layer. It comes with an image and a sealed letter.
It becomes practice, one small ask a day.
Concrete asks, drawn from your fragments. Done is done, for good, and the leaf bears fruit. A widget keeps the ask on your home screen.
